Cleanliness

La Diagonale des Fous, Le Trail de Bourbon and the Mascareignes are clean, eco friendly races:

  • Paths and refreshment areas must be left as clean as they were before the race. Eat and drink within the refreshment areas.
  • Contrary to what one tends to believe, biodegradable stuff (orange peelings, bits of bread..) pollutes. Rodents feed on them and they are a nuisance.
  • Anyone caught polluting or dirtying the paths will be sanctioned according to by-law 20 of the Book of Rules.
